 Our Community

Most of our students come from the suburbs of Durack and Inala in Brisbane's south-west.  Some live in other nearby suburbs, such as Forest Lake, Doolandella, Pallara, and a few live further afield.

The WhereiS website has a map of Durack where you can get directions to our school and find out distances to and from places you live or want to visit.

The Inala Civic Centre (part of this is known as Inala Plaza) is 400m from the school on Inala Avenue.  There is a major supermarkets (and one more soon), three banks, a post office, many specialty shops and services,   Here and in other parts of the suburbs there are several medical centres, doctors, pharmacies, and dentists.  Many of the businesses are owned by Vietnamese Australians, including several restaurants and snack bars. The Brisbane City Council Library is at the southern end of this complex .

From the Bus Interchange at the Inala Civic Centre, buses service the local area and also travel to Forest Lake, Mount Ommanney, Indooroopilly where there are shopping malls, and into the city centre.  Several buses link with train services at Richlands, Darra, Oxley and Corinda railway stations.  You can see all the services on Translink map for Inala.  For more information on the cities bus services

.A BUZ service operates every ten minutes between Inala Plaza and Brisbane city centre.  Other bus routes stop at the Inala Plaza (See Map)

Go Cards which are used to pare fares can be bought at Inala Plaza newsagents. You can plan journeys throughout the region on Translink
